Overview
This training has a focus on introducing the students to embedded Linux world.
Objectives
- Introduce embedded Linux and explain main components on an embedded Linux system
- Understand what software components required to build an embedded Linux system & why
- Understand the architecture and components of Linux kernel
- Understand different compile/build methodologies
- Experience building & booting a Linux kernel from scratch
- Experience and practice native and cross-compilation processes
Who should attend?
- Anyone who wants to get an initial understanding of embedded Linux concepts and development
Pre-requisites
- Basic Linux command line knowledge is a plus
